Trust

Cutting through the veil of illusion, TRUTH revealed.
What seemed true isn’t really so, an appearance lacking substance. A mirage. The elusive thought.

Sometimes with a small stick of dynamite,
Sometimes with a funny comment or story, just within earshot.
Was that meant for my ears?
Reality sets in. It’s Monday night.

Courage to dive deep. Exploring unknown internal space.
Courage produced by trust.
Courage produced by the presence of capable hands to help clean up the inevitable mess along the way.

Thursday. Authentic change.
New confidence, new readiness.
Will it hold? I ask.
That’s in your hands. I’m told.

Trust.

I am a husband and father, I am a scientist and teacher, I am a horseman. At night all the "I am's" go in a box and I shut the lid. I sleep like a dog.
